2,200

Overview

Event Overview:

The Design-Build Conference & Expo attracts over 2,000 industry professionals spanning the entire A/E/C community, including owners both new to and experienced in design-build project delivery.  The conference is the only industry event that provides a platform for experienced, knowledgeable, and well-spoken industry experts to highlight key aspects of design-build project delivery including best practices, lessons learned, noted challenges, and/or emerging trends.

Increase Your Expertise – Build Your Business – Make Industry Connections

DBIA’s annual Design-Build Conference & Expo grows each year as an increasing number of the nation’s owners and design-builders declare this is their #1 design-build event. Nowhere else can owners and design-builders across the nation, sectors and professions come together for a jam-packed three days of workshops, panel discussions and keynotes by industry leaders focused like a laser on addressing the real-world challenges America’s design-build teams and owners face across all sectors.

Access to Unparalleled Design-Build Expertise

Many of our most popular and time-tested Design-Build Conference & Expo programs are returning in Philadelphia, including; Owners’ Only Forums, in-depth Design-Build Done Right™ education workshops (earning up to 12 hours CEUs) and panel discussions providing project insights and practical solutions to challenges facing today’s design-build industry. We’ll also honor our 2017 National Design-Build Project/Team Award winners, host a Silent Auction, present the best of the nation’s design-build exhibitors, provide incredible networking opportunities and so much more.

New in 2017

Our first-ever “Explore Philadelphia” program for spouses/guests will offer a variety of tours in the area, admission to the DBIA Opening Party on the first night of the conference, the Opening Keynote address and access to the exhibit hall, including lunch, receptions, and the silent auction. We love our DBIA Young Professionals and to prove it we’ll host the “YP Lounge” with giveaways, happy hour and activities for our future industry leaders. We’ll also provide a YP-only leadership session and mentorship program events.
