The AcademyHealth National Health Policy Conference (NHPC) provides an extensive outlook on the nation’s health policy agenda for the year ahead. For two days, the nation’s leading health care decision-makers and policy leaders use the existing evidence base to provide clarity on the most critical health care issues and immediate policy priorities in United States health care.
This year's theme, A First Look at the Evidence, Politics and Priorities Shaping Health Policy in 2017, anticipates changes in the administration and Congress, and will be reflected in the six plenaries and 16 concurrent sessions. Drawing from accepted submissions from the first-ever NHPC Call for Presentations, sessions will also include new formats this year, such as Policy Roundtables and Rapid Fire presentations.
