2016 TLA Annual Conference - Texas Library Association

George R. Brown Convention Center
B2B 7,000 500

Event Overview:

Throughout the year, TLA hosts several conferences and events. These offerings provide TLA members with an opportunity for professional development and give the public a chance to learn more about libraries, literature, and the latest in educational technology and practice.

TLA proudly presents the largest statewide library conference in the country.

Exhibitor Information:

No other regional conference can offer the customer volume, the access to buyers and users, and the ongoing support that you'll find here. Texas librarians love the bustling exhibit hall area and view the exhibits as a "must" during the Conference.

Founded in 1902 with fewer than 20 members, TLA today has over 7200 members representing academic, public, school, and special library professionals, staff, educators, suppliers, supporters, and citizen advocates.

Exhibitors made their first appearance at TLA's conference in 1922. Currently, over 550 companies exhibit at TLA a number made up of publishers, distributors, technology-related companies, library furnishings and products, professional organizations, storytellers/entertainers and much more. The diversity found in the TLA Exhibit Hall helps TLA meet its goal of providing Texas libraries and librarians with the best materials and resources possible.

TLA offers unparalleled exposure and opportunities to market your product or service to the library community. With a representative from virtually every area of the industry at the conference, with expenditure budgets ranging in excess of $2.5 million per organization, and with a projected attendance of more than 6,700 professionals, can you afford not to show at TLA?

About TLA:

The Texas Library Association was established in 1902 to promote, support, and improve library services in Texas. TLA policy is set by a governing Council of elected leaders and is implemented by a board of directors (TLA Executive Board) and staff. Various membership committees and units - divisions, round tables, interest groups, and districts - carry out the work of the Association.

TLA offers members a wide range of services, including an annual conference that attracts more than 7,000 librarians and exhibitors, a leadership development program, legislative advocacy, and publications.

Don't wait to register for the 2016 TLA Annual Conference - Texas Library Association. You'll meet influential people and maximize your opportunities for success. Start now by accessing the information below.
