2016 MSA Annual Meeting - Mycological Society Of America
The MSA meets each year, usually in July/August. Our meetings typically include an exciting few days of posters and presentations, plus a fungus foray, council meetings, and our infamous Auction/Social. We often meet jointly with allied societies to promote cross-talk. Meeting Abstracts are published annually (in summer) in our newsletter, Inoculum.
The Mycological Society of America is a scientific society dedicated to advancing the science of mycology - the study of fungi of all kinds including mushrooms, molds, truffles, yeasts, lichens, plant pathogens, and medically important fungi. Our scholarly journal Mycolgia is one of the top mycological serials worldwide. Our bimonthly newsletter Inoculum keeps members up to date on fungal news of all kinds. MSA members meet annually to exchange information about all aspects of fungi.
