Learning Objectives
The goal of this conference, consistent with the ASCP Educational Affairs goal, is to enhance participant knowledge and competencies in providing pharmaceutical care to elderly individuals as part of the interdisciplinary team, which results in their improved health and well-being. Knowledge, competencies, and needs in the following general areas will be enhanced:

    Optimal medication therapy management
    Patient safety and treatment efficacy
    Participant knowledge of legal, regulatory, business practice, and related issues
    Participant educational needs for meeting re-licensure requirements

Target Audience
This conference's educational activity is designed for consultant and dispensing pharmacists who care for older adults. Other health care professionals are encouraged to attend ASCP's continuing education activities. While ASCP awards only continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credit, non-pharmacist attendees may submit CPE to their respective professional boards for consideration.
