AAPA’s Annual Convention continues to be the largest membership meeting of the year. The 2015 Convention in Miami will represent the 104th in AAPA’s history.
AAPA’s 2015 Convention includes technical and policy committee meetings, as well as business sessions and social networking possibilities for port professionals and others in the marine transportation industry.
Recognized as the premier gathering of the seaport industry, the AAPA Annual Convention brings together port authorities, marine terminal operators, integrators, engineering firms, industry stakeholders and key maritime executives from throughout the Western Hemisphere – affording exhibitors direct access to top decision-makers in the port industry.
The Annual Convention and Expo is AAPA’s largest membership meeting of the year and is held every fall in a different port city. The Expo is an integral part of the convention program, providing opportunities for networking and exchange of ideas. PortMiami will host an Evening Reception in the Exhibit Hall on Monday, November 2nd. During the business program on November 3-4, breakfasts, breaks and pre-luncheon networking events will be held in the AAPA Exhibit Hall. Additionally, Exhibitors are welcome to attend, complimentary, the 2015 Convention Business Program sessions.
Founded in 1912, the American Association of Port Authorities is a trade association which represents more than 130 public port authorities in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America. In addition, Association members include more than 300 sustaining and associate members - firms and individuals with an interest in the seaports of the Western Hemisphere. AAPA is dedicated to serving deep draft public ports by enhancing port management professionalism, and advocating issues critical to public seaports.
