Overview:

Travel Exchange is the combination of NTA’s Annual Convention and UMA’s EXPO, creating a travel industry event like no other. With an estimated 1,000 travel buyers (NTA tour operators and UMA motorcoach operators), Travel Exchange is the industry’s leading travel and tourism event.

Travel Exchange boasts an estimated attendance of 4,000 tourism professionals from around the globe and features:

• One-one one business appointments between buyers and sellers

• A full slate of industry-focused education

• Fun networking opportunities with the movers and shakers of the travel industry

• An open floor format that allows for interaction between NTA members and UMA members

Who Will Be There?

NTA Tour Operators (buyers)–Develop and sell travel packages. NTA’s tour operator membership consists of 1,500 tour operators from more than 600 companies. NTA tour operators average $10.3 million in annual sales ($5.7 billion total!).

NTA Tour Suppliers (sellers)–Provide the package components for tour operators and can fall into one of the following categories: hotels, attractions, restaurants, airlines, cruise lines, railroads, and sightseeing/receptive services. NTA boasts a membership of 1,500 Tour Supplier companies.

NTA DMO (sellers)–Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) promote specific destinations or regions and include national tourism organizations, state and provincial tourism offices, convention and visitors bureaus and chambers of commerce. NTA’s membership includes more than 600 DMO members.

UMA Motorcoach Companies (buyers)– 900-plus companies belong to UMA as a motorcoach company members , with over 60% of those actively packaging travel.

UMA Associate members (sellers) – Over 250 motorcoach manufacturers, suppliers and related businesses belong to UMA, promoting their products and services to the motorcoach companies.
