2014 National Conference For Nurse Practitioners (NCNP)

Overview

EVENT OVERVIEW:

Each year, our conference committee works diligently to surpass the quality, content, and expectations of the previous meeting. Our 2014 conference will be no exception - we'll use the past conference's evaluation results to plan timely concurrent sessions, skill-building and hands-on workshops. Plus, our exhibits, educational content, and poster presentations will be more lively and cutting-edge than ever before. NCNP is truly one of the most informative programs available to those involved in advanced practice nursing for both primary and acute care.

Program Goals and Objectives

The purpose of the National Conference for Nurse Practitioners is to offer interactive tutorials, presentations, and practical workshops that promote clinical excellence and improve the quality of care that health care practitioners provide. By attending this conference and participating in the educational sessions, you’ll be able to:

Consult with experts in primary and acute care, as well as clinical subspecialties.

Discuss issues related to family, adult, pediatric, geriatric, women’s health, legal, and mental health, in both the primary and acute care settings.

Develop your assessment and clinical management skills in hands-on and skill-building workshops.

Evaluate current and new treatment methods and pharmacologic therapies.

Identify issues that affect advanced practice, including reimbursement, malpractice, clinical practice guidelines, and using the latest technologies in the industry.

Notes:
Past Attendee Statistics: 86% see patients independently of physicians 82% have prescribing authority 93% prescribe drugs that require a DEA number 80% personally see pharmaceutical sales reps in their practice 93% hold an MSN degree or higher
Sponsorship Details:
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available for exhibitors to enhance their presence at the conference. Your support of educational programs and other approved functions increases your corporate exposure while supporting the educational goals of the conference. Sponsors will be recognized in the Program Book, on signage throughout the conference, on the website, and in the program-at-a-glance brochure that each attendee receives onsite.
