The International Marine Animal Trainers' Association and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums are joining forces in 2014 in Orlando, Florida for what is expected to be the most informative and largest networking opportunity in our history. This combined conference will offer the environment expected at an IMATA experience and provide you the flexibility to attend AZA's sessions and exposure to over 2000 animal influenced professionals. Co-hosts Disney's Animal Kingdom and SeaWorld, Orlando are each presenting separate events during the week, and have chosen Disney's Coronado Springs Resort as the backdrop for conference business, sessions, and presentations. Because we are combining these two conferences, dates and deadlines are very different than those in previous years.
IMATA is dedicated to providing and advancing the most professional, effective, and humane care of marine animals in all habitats.
IMATA provides opportunities for marine animal trainers to exchange and disseminate current knowledge, research and training information in both professional and social settings. In addition, IMATA maintains a positive public image by preparing its members to act as ambassadors of the marine animal community.
