Douglas Trade Shows was established in Hawaii in 1983. It is Hawaii's largest and oldest trade show management company and producer of Hawaii's largest annual exposition, the Hawaii Lodging, Hospitality & Foodservice Expo, begun in 1995. Douglas Trade Shows also produces Hawaii's four annual general merchandise, gift, jewelry and fashion accessory trade shows. In addition, the company has provided management services for association and government trade events for the arts, the environnment, architecture and the disability industries.
The Hawaii Buildings, Facilities & Property Management Expo offers convenient and efficient access to a broad variety of products, services and equipment needed by the owners, managers and operations personnel of Hawaii's buildings, facilities and property management companies. Although, free industry-related seminars are offered, the primary objective of the Expo is to bring individuals with purchasing authority or influence together with industry vendors to create an effective marketplace for both on the exhibit floor. Admission is free.
