The mission of the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Campaign of North Carolina (APPCNC) is to support North Carolina communities in preventing adolescent pregnancy through advocacy, collaboration and education.

The annual conference presented by APPCNC attracts over 200 professionals each year. Participants include school social workers and nurses; state-funded Adolescent Parenting Program and Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program coordinators; health educators; and representatives from Communities in Schools, adolescent health clinics and councils, community development corporations, health departments, and departments of social service.
