"Exploring New Frontiers in Metabolism - Tomorrow’s Clinical Science Today!"
The World Congress on Insulin Resistance, Diabetes & Cardiovascular Disease (WCIRDC), now in its 13th year, is a unique and exciting multidisciplinary program. The Congress is the premiere global meeting dedicated to obesity, diabetes, metabolism, and energy balance, linking research to clinical practice, and highlighting our theme - exploring new frontiers in metabolism - tomorrow's clinical science today.
Since its inception, the Congress has become a home to clinical & basic scientists, researchers, and practicing clinicians. The distinguished global faculty, employing the Congress’ unique bench-to-bedside approach, has developed a state-of-the-art program, promoting a new understanding of metabolic diseases; facilitate the development of future therapeutic modalities; and implement the management of obesity and diabetes with contemporary medications.
Since Dr. Gerald Reaven’s pioneering work crystallized the relationship between insulin resistance and diabetes & cardiovascular disease (CVD), the Congress’ focus has been augmented by the role of obesity, fat cell, and inflammation, in furthering cardiometabolic disease. The WCIRDC has become a distinguished platform where the interaction of multiple metabolic systems, like circadian rhythm, sleep disturbances, the neuroendocrine system, the gut, and related hormones, and their relationship to the brain, are evaluated in both the scientific and clinical environments. Ultimately the Congress is set on developing an innovative and comprehensive plan for managing CV risk factors and diseases.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE: October 13, 2015
This course is designed for endocrinologists, cardiologists, gastroenterologists, oncologists, family physicians, internists, diabetologists, OBGYNs, pediatricians, dieticians, nurses, registered nurses, and any health care professional who is interested in insulin resistance and the interaction of multiple metabolic mechanisms, and the effect on health and society, as well as in potential treatment and prevention.
You are cordially invited to become an exhibitor of the 13th Annual World Congress on Insulin Resistance, Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease (WCIRDC).
We offer Exhibit space to expand your company’s appreciation, and to expose your products and services to the nearly 500 health care professionals who attend the annual meeting.
The WCIRDC is an excellent opportunity to meet with globally-recognized medical leaders, clinicians and scientists who present and share their knowledge. The WCIRDC is designed to evaluate both clinical and basic science aspects of insulin resistance, obesity, diabetes, and CVD. The WCIRDC achieves a great balance between clinical practice and research, by utilizing a state of the art approach: "Exploring New Frontiers in Metabolism - Tomorrow’s Clinical Science Today!"
The WCIRDC will dedicate an area, separate from the educational program, where your company will be able to exhibit products, equipment and services.
