12th Annual Northeast L.E.A.N. Conference

Overview

Event Overview:

The mission of GBMP and its annual northeast Lean conference is to promote and recognize world-class Lean management and operating practices. The 12th Annual Northeast L.E.A.N. Conference will showcase organizations who have not only embraced the technical aspects of operational excellence, but who are also creating a leadership model and favorable work environment that enables floor employees to develop as change agents.

Exhibitor Information:

We anticipate 700 plus attendees at our 12th annual conference in 2016 in Worcester, MA, mostly from the Northeast United States (comprised of ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI, DE, PA, MD, NY and NJ) but also from all around the country and Canada too. Attendees come from large, mid-sized and small organizations from all industry sectors (most notably manufacturing and healthcare) including Raytheon, Biogen Idec, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Liberty Mutual, BASF, Hallmark, Medtronic, DelMonte, The Cleveland Clinic, Shire Pharmaceuticals, and Thermo Fisher Scientific, to name a few.

And because there is so much to learn and so much networking going on, most companies don’t send just one attendee. You can expect Presidents and CEO’s, operations and general managers, Vice Presidents from all departments, Human Resource professionals, purchasing managers and others from all of the functional areas of a company.

Why do they attend this conference? To Talk LeanEither they’re doing it or they want to do it. They’re just starting out or their implementation has stalled and they need to reenergize. Or, they are years along the journey to becoming shining examples of Operational Excellence in our region and they want to share their stories and keep on learning.

And what do they all have in common? They need information. They need tools. They need good people. They need ideas. They need systems. They need your help, but they just don’t know it yet.

Notes:
For 2016, we have committed more than half of the conference sessions to be hands-on or interactive activities with take-aways and real-world examples presented by Lean executives, managers and front-line employees.
