Convention Center Description

Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center is a unique municipal facility due to its dramatic architectural style, its importance to the downtown area, and the economic impact it has on the community. The ensuing mission of Century II is to provide an economic benefit to Wichita through its use as a performing arts and convention center. In January 2009, Century II celebrated its 40th year of service to the Wichita community.

Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center is equipped with 22 meeting rooms that vary in size from 420 sq. feet to 7,750 sq. feet. Whether planning a reception, banquet, seminar or convention, Century II's meeting rooms can accommodate a wide variety of events and functions.

Bob Brown Expo Hall provides 93,000 sq. ft. of open floor space and adjoins the 8,000 sq. ft. connecting lobby. The hall can accommodate 450 10' x 10' booths and 3,000 in banquet seating. Expo Hall is equipped with a 4,000 sq. ft. full-service kitchen.

A 60' retractable wall can be opened to create free-flow access between Bob Brown Expo Hall, Carl Bell Convention Hall, and Exhibition Hall, providing up to 198,800 square feet of contiguous exhibit space.

Exhibition Hall permits the versatility of 45,000 square feet of open floor space on the main floor and an additional 17,500 square feet on the mezzanine. This provides enough space for 160 8' x 10' booths on the main floor and 54 8' x 10' booths on the mezzanine. Exhibition Hall can also be used to host banquets for up to 2,000 people.
