How To Design the Perfect Message For Your Next Trade Show

If you rely on trade shows to draw customers to your business, you are most likely familiar with exhibit displays. These are used to market and advertise your personal brand. It is vital to design and develop the perfect trade show pop up displays that will attract potential customers to your booth. There are many different things that you need to incorporate into your design idea, in order to be able to pull this off perfectly.

Branding Your Business

When creating the perfect pop up displays, you are going to be forced to brand your business first. Most business owners have already branded their business, at this point, if not you should take the time to do so.

  • Branding with creativity, but without explanation
  • Design a business logo that will standout above others
  • Select a timeless logo that will reach into the next five years
  • Create a slogan that is short, to the point, but effective in marketing your business

You must realize that you will need to envelope your brand into your exhibit. Of course, you may need to hire a professional logo and brand designer to do it for you.

Keep the Design Clean and Simple

A simple and clean design will make an impression on the attendees. You truly only have a few seconds to draw their attention, so it is imperative that your trade show booth is capable of pulling this off. Remember presentation is everything and if you cannot instantly capture their attention, you face potential failure and misery.

  • Short messages will have a greater impact
  • Find ways to prove that your products are better than that your competitors
  • Tell visitors how your product can benefit them
  • If you are showing your product on your display make sure it’s a clean crisp picture

When visitors are making their way around a trade show, they will actually do a visual walkthrough, before they physically begin their tour. If your design sticks out above all the other vendors, they will be drawn to your booth, if not they will turn around and ignore your presence altogether.

With product photos, it’s important to have high quality photos that have crisp edges; nothing is worse when your image on your fabric pop up display is pixilated or has ragged edges. Adding bright vibrant colors to your design can also high light important features your products may have.

Attractive Design with Alluring Colors

Choosing the perfect color scheme is important. Start with a basic background color and build your banner design from this, but remember some colors work better together than others. High impact displays may only contain a background color, with a small logo in the middle. While this may not seem like an effective display of your brand, it will work wonders. There are three main background colors that are preferred over others and those include black, blue, and white. Be sure to rely on the philosophy of juxtaposition and complimentary colors, in order to attract and captivate all viewers to your company’s brand, products, and services. With this mixture and the right positioning of your trade show displays it would be impossible for visitors to pass by, without being entranced with the design of your pop up displays, which will inspire them to seek you out and inquire more about your company.
